Jake Dargan
Jake grew up on a family farm in Condobolin NSW. He was heavily involved in sport throughout his childhood and youth, playing competitive cricket, rugby league and swimming. This early engagement in sport paved the way for Jake to pursue a career in the field of human movement. Jake completed his schooling in Condobolin prior to undertaking his undergraduate studies at Charles Sturt University in Bathurst. He completed degrees in both Exercise Science and Business Studies before once again returning several years later to complete a Master of Clinical Exercise Physiology in 2018.
Having grown up in rural NSW, Jake is passionate about increasing health service access for those living in rural and remote areas. He loves all things exercise, in particular working with disabilities and chronic disease management. Jake has a background in working within a wide range of healthcare settings, including workers compensation, occupational health and disability rehabilitation. Jake is excited to further develop his skills as an Exercise Physiologist with Active Physiotherapy and become an active member of the Wagga Wagga healthcare community.
