After growing up near Cootamundra, Jane completed her Physio degree at The University of Sydney in 1997.
Jane commenced her Physio career in Sydney, working at Northside Sport Physiotherapy which combined clinical time with coverage of several leading sporting teams including Gordon Rugby Union, Hornsby Hockey and Barker College. This opportunity involved close liaison with some of Sydney’s leading Orthopaedic surgeons, Sports Physicians and Sports Physiotherapists.
After some time combining Physiotherapy in the UK with travel and fun, Jane returned to Sydney and then onto Bendigo, Victoria to resume a career in the private Physiotherapy sector. Deep in Aussie Rules territory, Jane was employed as the Head Physiotherapist for the Bendigo Bombers VFL team, working under the Essendon AFL Club Physiotherapists. This role allowed Jane to cement her knowledge and management of acute sporting injuries and the complex nature of the rehabilitation of elite athletes.
Jane and her husband Jeremy relocated to NSW in 2004, establishing The Joint Approach Physiotherapy clinics in Cootamundra, Junee and Temora. During this time Jane trained in Clinical Pilates and established a Pilates studio within The Joint Approach. Jane also continued her involvement with sporting clubs, providing services to the Cootamundra Tricolours Rugby Club and Cootamundra Touch Association.
Jane joined the Active Physiotherapy team in 2017 and enjoys treating a wide-range of injuries, across all ages. With a young family, she has an interest in youth injuries and in assisting young athletes to achieve their potential.
