Bachelor of Physiotherapy, Charles Sturt University
Ben grew up in Shepparton where he developed a love for sports such as tennis, soccer and running. His high school studies inspired a passion for health, the human body and human movement. This lead to his decision to study a Bachelor of Physiotherapy at Charles Sturt University which he graduated from in 2015.
After graduating, Ben had worked as a physiotherapist in Albury where he gained experience in multiple settings including hospital, clinic and workplace. He has experience in treating a wide range of musculoskeletal disorders, postoperative care, vestibular disorders and workplace injuries. Ben is registered to provide physiotherapy services to NDIS clients.
Ben joined the Active team in 2018 and looks forward to continuing to service the rural community and develop his professional skills. In his spare time he enjoys training for and participating in triathlons and trying any sport that comes his way.
Ben has professional interests in musculoskeletal physiotherapy to manage injuries and maximise performance in sport, work and daily living. He is particularly interested in running retraining and efficiency as well as the use of dry needling to improve pain and function.
